Provide Taxually with the following information to complete your Onboarding

Required Information

We will need the following information from you:

  1. Sales Tax Number

  2. Zipcode

  3. Payment amount (alternate option below if no payment history)

Step 1: Provide Your Sales Tax Number and Zipcode

  • Log in to your Georgia Tax Centre (GTC) logon

    • Locate the Sales & Use Tax account on the Summary tab

      • Account Number: Provide the 9-digit account number (format: 123-456789) on the account tile.
      • Zip Code Verification: Confirm if the zip code of the registered Sales & Use Tax Address is the same as the legal address you provided to Taxually in the Business Details section. If different, please provide Taxually with the zip code of your registered address in Georgia.

    • Confirm if you have third-party access enabled in your account

      • From the home page, click the Manage My Profile link at the top of the screen

      • Click the More… menu tab

      • Click the Manage Third Party Access link under the Access Management tile

      • Ensure that the following settings are enabled:

        • Allowed: Yes

        • Default Account Access: File Returns and Make Payments

NOTE: The remaining onboarding steps depend on whether you have a payment history for your Sales & Use Tax account. Please follow the relevant instructions below.

Step 2: Provide Recent Payment Amount

For Accounts WITH Payment History:

  • Log in to your Georgia Tax Centre (GTC) logon

  • Click the More… menu tab

  • Click the Manage Payments and Returns

  • From the “Accounts” dropdown, select Sales & Use Tax

  • From the two “Show” dropdowns, select Payments and Posted

  • Locate the the two most recently submitted payments (greater than $0.00) by referencing the Period column. Then provide the exact payment amounts from the Amount column into the appropriate fields in Taxually.

    • Note: If you do not have two payments you can just provide one

    • Note: If you do not have any payments, then answer “No” to the question in Taxually that asks “Do you have a payment history for your Georgia Sales & Use Tax account?” and proceed to the next section of this guide.

For Accounts WITHOUT Payment History:

Ceate a secondary logon for Taxually. This secondary logon will allow us to support your account until a payment history is established. Once payments have been recorded, we will switch to the standard third-party access request using our designated third-party preparer login.

Steps to Create Additional Logon:

  • From the GTC home page, click Manage My Profile

  • Click the More… tab

  • Click Add Additional Logons

  • For the Logon field: Please use the logon/username created by Taxually and provided in the Taxually Onboarding

    • If one is not created for you yet, then create one with your business name and “TA” at the end (for Taxually).

      • For example, if your business name is “Google” then make the username “GoogleTA”. This helps Taxually know which business the login is for.

  • For the Email field, enter: compliance-usa@taxually.com

  • For the Type of Access: Select Manager

  • Click Next

  • Review the logon information created and copy/paste the logon into Taxually

  • Click Submit

What happens next

  • Taxually will complete third party access using the information you provided

  • Taxually will confirm if the access is successful or contact you if they require additional information.
